This year, under the Spanish Presidency, the Competition Day took place in Madrid on May 12.
At the Conference, distinguished speakers such as Commissioner Joaquin Almunia and Ms. Sharon Bowles, Chairwoman of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament , tackled the most raging topics on competition, like optimal deterrence of anticompetitive behaviour and the Services Directive and its impact on consumers.
